Wage Garnishment & Related Administration

PEOs can take on the responsibility of issuing wage garnishments when a client employer is required to withhold wages from an employee for the payment of a court or legal debt, such as IRS, tax collection, or child support.

 

Direct Deposit Administration

PEOs can help establish a secure direct deposit payroll system, making payroll processing much more flexible and convenient. Paychecks can then be electronically deposited into employees’ checking or savings accounts, eliminating paper documents and check issuance.

 

Access to Payroll Specialist/Support Team

Most PEOs provide clients with a designated contact to handle all payroll and tax questions. When working with smaller PEOs, this person may also provide HR support; for larger PEOs clients will most likely have multiple subject matter experts to work with.

 

Employee Debit Card

One employee payment method offered by a PEO is an employee debit card arrangement, where payroll payments are transferred to employee debit cards instead of through paycheck or direct deposit into a bank account.
