    Thomas W. Farrell - Founder & CEO

    Thomas founded PEO Spectrum in 2008 to improve the efficiency by which a company can find, switch, and negotiate with the nation's top 100 PEOs.

    He began his career in the PEO industry working for a national PEO in the Northeast Region of the country. While working there he witnessed firsthand the challenge many companies faced when shopping for a PEO.

    "Most of the time, when a company is considering a PEO it is a totally new concept for them. There are many options out there and not many places for them to turn to get experienced guidance."

    Upon this foundation, PEO Spectrum was born. Thomas' role is comprised of maintaining key relationships with PEOs, monitoring their health and performance as vendors, and helping PEO shoppers through the streamlined buying process PEO Spectrum delivers.

    Thomas also founded TransCon Lead Generation Corp, a business that specializes in lead development and sales consulting for PEOs and HR Outsourcing companies.

    Prior to his career in the Professional Employer Organization industry, Thomas founded, managed, and eventually sold ReyFresco Mobile Marketing, an outdoor advertising company based in New York. Thomas holds a B.A. in Public & Private Sector Organization and Sociology from Brown University.

    When escaping the office, Thomas enjoys fishing, skiing, football, real estate, and most importantly, good times with friends and family!

    Like many other start-up stories, the most important attribute to PEO Spectrum's success has to do with the present needs in the marketplace, and how we've been able to meet those needs head-on. 

    PEOs deliver a powerful value proposition; they increase business efficiency, provide stronger benefit packages for employees, and reduce employer liabilities in an increasingly regulated sector. However in most parts of the country industry penetration is still below 1%. This is largely due to the complexity of the PEO's offering and the learning curve associated with understanding it.

    PEO Spectrum provides businesses with an unbiased resource to learn about PEOs in a pressure-free environment. By being a third party, we have but one allegiance, the client. This is something a business owner won’t get when dealing with a direct salesperson.

    There are several compelling reasons, and each is a natural result of how we‘re changing the status quo methodology of how companies shop for vendors – we are a non-direct sales organization.

    Representating multiple PEOs allows us to provide unbiased consultation, negotiate the best prices, and aggregate market information for our clients' use.

    We also streamline the buying process, drastically cutting the time commitment for a thorough vendor analysis.

    Yes, PEO Spectrum's service to our clients is absolutely free, they are never obligated to compensate us in any way for what we provide.

    We are compensated by our network of PEOs. We provide them an alternative sales channel to utilize in addition to their current sales force.
